About this piece

Really lovely Coalport painted porcelain tea set, c. 1810. Made by Thomas Rose (Anstice, Horton & Rose); Rose is the brother of John Rose, who started Coalport China in 1795; Thomas Rose's partnership was in operation from c. 1805-1815, when it was acquired by Coalport. Beautifully painted in the Japan pattern, this set includes a teapot and undertray, creamer, waste bowl and covered sugar bowl. All are in excellent condition.
